In April, we expanded our speciality visits, re-designed our homescreen experience and worked hard to continue giving our pet parents the best experience possible. We’re excited to share new updates–keep reading below to see them in action!

New Speciality Visit: Young Pet Visit

What: Welcoming a new pet is exciting, but it also comes with questions. That’s why Airvet is introducing our new Young Pet Care Consultations, a specialty visit designed to support pet parents with puppies, kittens, and young pets up to two years old.

Why: Proactive and preventive care from the start can lead to fewer health issues, lower vet costs, and a happier, healthier pet in the long run. 

Key Benefits: 

  • Answers to their questions and concerns about bringing a new puppy or kitten into the home
  • A review of their pet’s current routine and any milestone guidance
  • Proactive care tips and preventative guidance
  • A helpful summary of next steps

How to Use: On the homepage of the Airvet app, scroll down to the section titled ‘Additional Appointments’. Select “see all” and tap on the visit titled “Young Pet Visit” to set up your visit.

Platform Update: Homescreen Re-Design

What: We’ve updated our homescreen experience for pet parents like you better navigate the Airvet app to take full advantage of our emergency, general medicine, and preventive care visits. Take a look at the gif below to see how the experience has changed!

How to Use: If you have the Airvet app but haven’t updated the app in a week, download our update to take advantage of the new home screen experience!

Speciality Visit: Seasonal Changes

What: This 10-15 minute consultation is designed to help pet parents manage seasonal changes.

Why: To provide valuable resources and support for pet parents, to ensure pet parents are prepared for the pet health topics that arise in spring, from allergies to flea & tick prevention. 

Key Benefits:

  • Personalized guidance on keeping pets healthy during the spring.
  • Educational resources and tips on common spring issues like grooming, flea & tick, and allergies.
  • Direct access to veterinary advice tailored to your pet’s needs.

How to use: Under Additional Appointments, select “Schedule a call” under “Seasonal Changes”
