In 2024, Airvet implemented impactful updates and product developments that have allowed us to continue our mission for helping pets live their happiest, healthiest, and longest lives. These changes range from technical support to make implementation easier than ever to speciality visits with trained vet specialists. These innovations are why HR leaders at some of the influential brands in the world continue to adopt Airvet into their benefits plan to make a difference for their employees.

In 2024, we made a number of impactful product enhancements to improve the pet parent experience as well as the employer experience. Below are some of our highlights from this past year! Expanding telehealth access in multiple languages
Expanding telehealth access in multiple languages
At Airvet, we are committed to making pet care accessible and inclusive for every pet parent. Accessibility means not only offering care quickly during a time of need, but ensuring that the delivery of care is available in a language preferred by the pet parent. In 2024, our team has been dedicated to expanding our telehealth service beyond English and weâre thrilled to announce that starting in Q4, we began offering care in French and Spanish to select members.
Switching to your preferred language on Airvet is simple. Whether youâre new to the platform or an existing user, hereâs how you can make the switch:
New Members: If youâre downloading Airvet for the first time, your account creation process will automatically match your deviceâs default language. If your device is set to Spanish or French, youâll be able to choose your preferred language as you set up your account.
Existing Members: Already have an Airvet account? No problem! You can update your language preferences at any time by visiting your user profile settings in the app. Simply select Spanish or French as your preferred language, and the app will adjust accordingly.
Family Sharing
Family Sharing comes from a problem many of the members faced: how can their pet receive quality Airvet care if theyâre away for work, travel, or something else? With Family Sharing, members can now share your Airvet benefit with your family, friends, or other trusted caretakers to make it easy to access 24/7 virtual vet care for your pet no matter who is looking after them.
How to Use Family Sharing:
Open Airvet app.
Select âFamily Sharingâ from the main menu.
Click âAdd family memberâ and enter their email.
Please note the invite is only live for 24 hours so be sure they respond in that window of time!
Specialized Visits for Proactive Care
In 2024, Airvet has invested in gathering veterinarian specialists to help treat our membersâ pets. These vets include behavioral specialists, dietitians, and more to help your pet live their happiest, healthiest, and longest lives. In 2024, weâve introduced:
Separation Anxiety Visits
Seasonal Care Visits
Travel Consultation Visits
Senior Pet Care Visits
End of Life Care Visits
These are all in addition to your first three specialized visit types launched in 2023, Diet Consultation Visits, Prescription Visits*, and Find a Clinic Visits.
Each visit is designed to last about 15 minutes and provide a specialized and personalized support plan for your pet. These visits come at no additional cost to employees.

How Airvet Helped Pet Parents in 2024
Not only did we grow our platform offerings and capabilities in 2024, but we also grew Airvetâs impact on thousands of pet parentsâ lives.
Increases across hours saved, cost saving, and peace of mind for pet parents
2024 was a huge year for helping pets. In 2024, we saved pet parents over 11,000 hours in in-person vet visits, as well as an average of $900 in savings per pet parent, per month. Beyond hours and dollars, we also gave pet parents peace of mind knowing they had the tools they needed to support their pets.
Why? The rise in pet ownership, coupled with a growing vet shortage and limited access to care, has placed a financial and emotional burden on many employees. The rising costs of pet care are driving families into debt, with few accessible resources to help mitigate expenses or provide preventive care, as traditional solutions like pet insurance often fall short.
Itâs no surprise then that pet parents who had Airvet as a benefit relied heavily on it this year. 70% of unnecessary vet visits are avoided with Airvet, which means employees can stay focused at work instead of taking time off to go to vet, urgent care, or ER.⨠And, this year, Airvet saved employees on average $900+ per year per pet on avoided vet bills.

NPS Score + Feedback from clients
At Airvet, our commitment to our clients is only rivaled by our passion for pets â and thatâs saying something! Thatâs why weâre proud to announce our latest achievement: a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93. This marks our second consecutive year receiving a âWorld Classâ rating from our clients, and itâs our highest score to date.
Achieving an NPS of 93 not only validates our efforts to enhance customer experience but also strengthens our resolve to exceed expectations and drive positive outcomes for our clients and their employees. We canât wait to continue serving our clients and their pets in 2025!
Soc II Type 2
In 2024, Airvet has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, a significant milestone in our journey toward ensuring top-notch security and trust in pet telehealth. The privacy and security of our client information is our top priority. SOC 2 Type II certification is our way of proving that. National Pet Day
Itâs no surprise that National Pet Day is a big deal here at Airvet! This year we went all out and held over a dozen events with employers and for the general public alike. We had thousands of pet parents ready to learn about the impact of Airvet and how to help their pets live their happiest, healthiest, and longest lives.

2024 Pet Benefits Survey
In 2024 we ran a nationwide survey to discover the key challenges pet parents face. The growing expense of pet care is putting significant financial pressure on families, with many finding traditional options like pet insurance increasingly out of reach. This financial strain is compounded by the fact that a large majority of pet parentsâ74% according to our researchâhave had to take time off work for pet care. These absences not only impact their productivity but also add to their financial and emotional stress.
Employers are in a unique position to address these challenges, and our 2024 survey uncovers key insights that can help HR leaders support their teams more effectively.

Open Enrollment 2024
This year, we were excited to be on-site with dozens of employers during their busy open enrollment season to share Airvet with their teams.
